Three ways a habit can change
When a habit stops fitting, you change one part of it and keep the rest.
- Shrink: do the minimum, the smallest version that still counts
- Move: put the habit at a time that fits today
- Pause: take a break; your history stays as it is
For one day
Swipe a habit left on Today and tap Minimum, and that day counts. If the whole day is hard, “A hard day” in the Coach tab turns every habit on today into its minimum after you confirm. Tomorrow the habits go back to normal.
After a missed day, the comeback card offers the same three choices: do the minimum, move it or pause.
For a few weeks
Sometimes the problem lasts longer than a day. On Plus, the daily AI review looks at how your habits went and offers one action, for example “Reading has been harder lately. Try the minimum?” or “Reading tends to work better at another time. Move it?”
Three days after you switch to the minimum, LilCoach shows whether it helped. You keep the change or go back to the previous goal.
Talking it through
On Pro you can tell your coach what keeps getting in the way. It suggests one change and shows it as “Was” and “Will be”. Nothing changes until you confirm, and you can undo it.
Every change is yours
LilCoach never rewrites a habit on its own. Suggestions wait for your answer, a minimum day is marked separately in your history, and a pause keeps everything you have done so far.
Questions
Which of these are free?
The minimum, Move, Pause, the comeback card and “A hard day” are free. The daily AI review and the 3-day check are on Plus, and the chat is on Pro.
Will the app change my habits automatically?
No. Every suggestion needs your confirmation, and a change from the chat can be undone.
Does a minimum day look the same as a full day?
It counts the same for comebacks, and your history marks it separately.
